You guys will never remember living in the "Big City" of Minneapolis. You will remember being introduced to all Grandpa's animals though and that is pretty cool in my book. How ironic..Easter and Sheep go together don't they??

Sugary Heaven On A Stick
Sometimes, I just need a little more time to clean up the kitchen before I let you 2 "go" after supper. You tend to whine at my feet if I try to clean up with you out of your chairs. The Suckers gave me like 6 extra minutes. Lilly did need a bath that night due to sticky hair, but it was worth it to me. Your eyes lit up right away once you realized I just gave you swwet heaven on a stick.

Caught You...
Just when I think you are the neediest, crabbiest, unruly little boy....you go and surprise me. I had just gotten done feeding you two dinner last week. Please note, dinner time hasn't been pleasant around here lately. I am alone and your dad is still working until 6pm in his office. Charlie has been not eating, crying, throwing food, rubbing it all over his face, and hair. So I get you cleaned up and send you two into the living room so I can have 7 min ALONE to clean up the mess. I am crabby a lot of the time, but I happened to look up and smile here. I saw you guys taking turns, pouring your sippy cup down the doll's mouth. Now, I knew some was running down the side of the babies mouth an onto the carpet, but I just let this one go, as it was pretty darn cute to watch. You learn to "pick your battles" I guess.

Pimp My Ride
We were outside this afternoon after naptime and the neighbor brought over a nice little ride for us to try out. See I have a Jeep One just like this in the garage still boxed up, I bought it on Black Friday. I didn't know if we would get it out this year or not, but after seeing your reaction to the neighbor's little girl's toy, I think we just may.

Love Letter To Winter...
Today is beautiful out...but we still have some winter trying to "hold on.".. I gave it the middle finger pulling into the garage this afternoon. Sweet 16
The pic Above was Taken on 4-6-2010(so 366 days ago)I missed this post by 24 hours.. but yesterday you two turned 16 months old. Your Grandma Lilly loved the movie "The Sound Of Music." We watched it often when we visited her growing up. She stored the DOUBLE VHS right next to her VCR in her TV Stand. She also had some other "classics" tucked in there, too. One of the songs from The Sound Of Music popped into my head while I tried to think of a witty "Sweet 16" post.

This past Sunday after dinner, we put up your Xmas gift from Gma and Gpa Mergen. A PLAYHOUSE that even has a working doorbell and kitchen inside. I am sure this will be a hit all summer long. I plan to get a little blow up pool to put on the deck as well, since this deck gets DIRECT SUN in the summer, but I am NOT complaining at this point. No WAY. I am also looking forward to using this table as your snack table. You can get the deck floor as dirty as you you would like.
