First Snowfall of 2013
The first snowfall of 2013 arrived extra early this year. This past Sunday the 20th of October, to be exact. It is all gone now though.

Halloween Practice Run
I have learned many things on this trip called, Parenthood. One thing I have learned about Halloween, is that it is smart to take pictures before the actual day. It reduces stress, you can get good clean shots before dark settles in, and the kids can enjoy their costumes more than once! Charlie was not having this photo shoot tonight, but we HAD to do it. I think this is the only nice day we are getting this week.
This was the first year that I let the twins decide on what they wanted to be. I was for sure they would be polar opposites. I had a feeling Charlie would pick some super hero of some kind, but Lilly surprised me. When she blurted out that she wanted to be WONDER WOMAN, with BLUE HOOKER BOOTS, I was excited! They could be matchy matchy for one more year. Close your mouth, Lilly did not refer to the boots as "HOOKER" boots, but I had to put that in there for fun!
The neighbor guy walking his dog thought it was pretty cute.
Lilly was a complete natural tonight! Isn't she so cute!
I told her to flex her muscles, but she was quick to inform me that, "Wonder Woman doesn't have muscles!"

Baby Boom
Two of my friends had baby boys this week. Lori had Cayl on Monday, and Keillor had Hudson on Saturday morning. Adam and I packed the twins up Saturday morning and hit the road for the cities. We saw both newborn boys, and then stayed in Waconia at my friend Jen's place for the night. Jen and Bill have 2 boys. Evan is 3 months younger than the twins and Thomas is 18 months. Fun filled weekend!
First Stop: Cayl Walter Hytjan, born on 10-7-2013. His mom and I go way back to 7th grade. Dalyn (18 months) is pretty proud of his new little brother!
Second Stop: Hudson Timothy Keillor, born on 10-12-2013.
His mom and I go back to freshman year of college.
Third Stop: Hanging with the Vanderlinde's in Waconia for the night. Sleepover!!
