Two Turkeys Holding Turkey Legs

If you don't know about Gpa Glen's catering business, these pics may take you off guard.

Gpa Glen sells some pretty awesome food at Summer Events, and these are some of them!

Anyone else see Mini Mandy in the picture above? Almost creepy!

Charlie would make a perfect Bam Bam, from the Flintstones.

Grandpa's Tractor Ride!

The twins got some 1:1 time with Gma Nellie and Gpa Jeff this weekend.

They helped Gpa Jeff pick up sticks, and rode around in this for close to 2 hours!

While we try to teach our children all about life,

Our children teach us what life is all about.

While they were at Gma and Gpa's, Adam and I got to have some fun at FIREFEST!

For some reason I thought I needed Adam to take this picture.

Snug as a bug in a Rug

They are so cute when they sleep. When they are awake, they go non stop all day long. Full of questions, arguments, meltdowns, requests, demands, and the list could go on.

I know I will miss this one day, but holy cow.  I could say alot right now, but I will just smile and take a deep breath and be happy with what I have.

Happy Monday

Dog Days

The dog days of summer are here!

June was filled with rain and clouds.

July is full of Sun and Heat!

This picture above, may go down as one of my favorite of all times, and I bet it is framed on my wall before the snow flies!

Charlie felt like a Ninja in his bandanna.

We are not complaining though!  Just a couple months ago, this is what we saw!

Pink Heals Tour Visits Mom

Dealing with Cancer sucks. Having a support system that is OUT of this world...ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF!

The Pink Heals Tour is a REALLY cool movement, that is sweeping the nation.

Hugging people you don't even know and hearing.. "I love you" is sometimes just what you need to hear.

Birch Villa 2013

You may have wondered where in the hell I have been.

We took a little break from the grind and headed north to be with my family for a week.

It was much needed, and by far the best week I have had in 2013.

We love northern Minnesota. We go there every year, and I am sure my kids will take up the tradition as well.

Beach days, boating, kayaking, campfires, fishing, cold beer at noon, no schedules.

The twins are getting more and more fun to vacation with, too. They are easily entertained by pine cones, minnows, leeches, bugs, etc.

They had really cool dragonfly's up there, that were the size of small birds.

Not many children can grow up stating that their GREAT GRANDPA is healthy enough to play with them and do rigorous physical activity. I am so thankful that my children can.

Even though we all had the anxiety of mom's surgery the following week, we still took advantage of each day and lived it to the fullest.

The good news, is that mom's surgery went very well, and she should be on the road to recovery now.

This little girl is a water baby, just like her mamma!

Great Grandpa has the patience of a saint, and he really knew how to keep the twins entertained.

Charlie didn't even think twice about holding slippery, slimy leeches!

Thank goodness for Camera Timers! We get a GREAT family photo!

Adam had some GREAT fishing luck, too!

Even Glen Shirk relaxed, and that isn't very common!

We made crafts, and played lots of games.

This game is a tradition. It is called Chubby Bunny.  You put marshmallows in your mouth. After each Marsh Mallow you have to say "Chubby Bunny" and the person who can get the most in their mouth and still say Chubby Bunny wins. I got 7 and did not win.

Charlie was a HAM all week and kept everyone laughing. He is showing his Spider man Underwear below.

I have a TON of other pictures, and they may come out here and there down the road.

Can you see the big bug on his shirt?
