Don't worry I am still here! The later part of last week was consumed by ill babies, and busy work schedules.
I captured some videos though. I feel bad, as they are both Charlie, but I will work on getting Lilly on camera one of these days, too. Her "Diva" attitude lately though has not been worth filming.
Charlie got busted this weekend dancing up a storm to Sesame Street. He loves to imitate the actions on TV now when people are dancing. It cracks me up!
If you have trouble viewing this and having the blog music play. Scroll down to the bottom of the blog and hit "pause" on the music player before clicking on the videos to watch. Email me if you still have issues.

Then later on Saturday morning we were watching an Aerosmith/Carrie Underwood Duo on CMT. This little boy turned the remote into a guitar and went crazy! I love kids imaginations.
Charlie Playing Guitar With A Remote
Your wonderful dad is building you something. You don't know what it is yet, and we will NOT even tell you that it will eventually have a slide and swings, because we knew if we did, your impatient minds would drive us crazy with asking every 5 min if you can go outside and see it.

Buckets Of Fun!
Sometimes I am guilty of being "boring."
I say "no" to spaghetti, if it isn't bath night.
I say "no" to getting out the colors, stickers, and coloring books 4 min before bed.
I say "no" to messy things, if I am too lazy to give you a bath following.
I have yet to introduce you to Play-Doh and Bubbles.
Sometimes, I step outside my comfort zone though and let you go hog wild.
Insert warm weather, a hose, buckets, two excited kids, pine cones, grass clippings, and rocks.
I knew it was bath night after this escapade...
They are scared of the shower in the house, but pretty sure this summer they will be in love with the sprinkler.
If you could hear these two giggle, you would understand why I couldn't resist them getting wet, clammy, grassy, sandy, etc....
Lilly had to take a break, and take a dump in her diaper out in the driveway.
It quickly led to making Rock, Grass, and Pine cone Soup!
I'm sure if you ask, they would have you over for a bowl, free of charge.
Look at that work of art! I am sure Charlie will have forearms the size of Popeye tomorrow after watching him squeeze the handle 156 times.
Too bad Charlie is fighting some sort of bug, and once his Tylenol wore off we were in the house, bathed, and he had to cuddle up and be rocked by his mamma.
It is 7:00 and he is out. Waiting for his daddy to get home from work, he keeps opening one eye from time to time to check his surroundings.
So next time I deny you from a messy activity, I will remind myself that I am not always "lame."

Lilly's 24 Hour Perm
I got this idea from a blog I follow...

Twist hair into little buns while the hair is wet.
In the morning you get this...EEEEK!
It did tame down as the morning went on...
I think braids make nicer curls, but this will do until we have more hair to work with.
We took the twins out to breakfast this morning, and I am sure some wondered if she was blessed with frizzy hair for life. I also had flashes of that show "Toddlers and Tiaras," where parents glam their kids up for fashion shows at an early age.
Fun times!

Pushing Our Buttons........
This morning this little girl was pushing her limits with her daddy. She didn't want to wake up and didn't want to get out of the car at daycare this morning. Her personality has started to make an appearance the past couple weeks, and my theory of her being cute and innocent like her father may be a bit off. More to come.
She also awoke early this morning at 2:53 am in a panic, I knew she had had a bad dream. I went and got her and brought her into bed with us as she asked. She was back in her crib by 3:20 am. I have no idea how parents out there co-sleep with their child. Both Lilly and I agreed at 3:20 that she was better off in her crib. She was flopping around between Adam and I like a fish out of water trying to find the "right spot."

Good Things Come To Those Who Wait....
I'm sure you look at all my pictures and think my kids are always in the same hoodie/hat combo.
We are just hanging out waiting for that warm sunny weather to come back. The rain has sure greened everything up finally.
The robins are out flying around, and bouncing on our front lawn.I am not complaining too much though, as we were given a pretty mild winter this year.
We just have some pretty cute shorts/skirts/tanks, etc to rock out this summer. They are patiently waiting in our closets and dressers.
So, we are ready when you are Mr. Sunshine!
We are even enjoying some of summer's best treats while we wait.

Saving For A Rainy Day
I'm sure glad I logged off from blogging yesterday when I did, because after an afternoon of flickering on and off, the power finally BLEW at 5:30 and did not return on until 7:30 or 8pm. They originally had an ETA of 10pm, but thankfully they were 2 hours early.
When the power blew at 5:30, I was in Charlie's room playing with legos, while he destroyed everything I made with his new rubber snake. Adam was on the couch downstairs watching baseball, as his little princess watched Dora on the biggest TV in the house upstairs. (Yes we know something is wrong with that picture, but she is a DIVA!) Anyways, I wish I had a camcorder up there videotaping her, because as soon as that power went out and didn't return in seconds, like it had prior, that little girl came flying down the stairs hollering at her daddy to FIX THE TV! IT BROKE!
We patiently waited for it to come back on and after 30 min or so, we started to think of our options. Finally, Adam thought of an AWESOME idea. La Casita in St. Cloud for dinner it is! Going out to eat with you two is a bit busy, but I love it. I don't have to clean up my kitchen afterwards.
Anyways back to this weekend. The twins found Aunt Jen's and Gma Pam's purses and drained them of every coin in there, and had a blast putting them into their banks! When we were all dry of coinage in our wallets, we pulled the plug on the bottom and let them do it all over again.
Aunt Jen even snuck a Twenty in each one of their banks! I tried to teach the twins to ask for "Benjamin's," but they didn't get my humor.

Saturday was saturated with Sun, and Sunday was blustery, rainy and cold. Today as I blog before work starts, I am looking at tiny flurries floating in the air.

Weekend Recap
Grandma Pam, and Jen were here this weekend and we sure had a good time.
We may have been guilty of laughing our asses off at this little boy walk around the living room with Grandma Pam's reading glasses on.
We may have let this little boy finally rock his Batman Cape shirt all day Saturday. Even to the mall and Target!
Charlie perfected his smile that you can't say no, to.

We may have had to entertain this little girl by doing Easter Egg hunts 7 days after Easter, still....
Charlie perfected his smile that you can't say no, to.
We may have dealt with this girl's moodiness caused by severe constipation. (Everything is fine now...WHEW). I may have bought prunes, prune juice, and fiber gummies and felt a bit weird when the clerk at Teal's Supervalu gave me a funny look.
I may be guilty of sneaking away with my mom and only my mom during nap time, to take shots at The Cold Spring Bakery.
I may go crazy if this wind knocks our power out anymore this weekend. 4 times total since yesterday. Better log off so I don't lose any of my blog post. More pics to come next week!

Funny Friday
"Charlie act silly.."
Here is what you will get!
My topless beauty showing off her thrift store hand me down peasant skirt I scored last week, that I am pretty proud of.
TGIF! I think my cold/allergies has passed onto the twins, they seem to handle it better than I did.

In Like A Lamb...Out Like A Lion...
Is that how that saying goes???
We were blessed with 50 degrees in January, and 80 degrees in March. April has been a bit chilly though.
I am not complaining though. Before we know it, these bushes will be flourishing, and the AC will be working overtime.
Instead of enjoying hard boiled eggs from Easter, this little lad will be getting the fresh watermelon that is in season while he is bellied up to Gma Nellie's Counter.

As long as this little girl can be outside she is happy. Spring, Summer, or Fall.
Childhood is the most beautiful of all life's seasons.

Easter was Eggsausting...
So I had every intention of blogging about Easter after you guys went to bed lastnight. That did not happen. I was eggsausted and crashed and burned. I didn't feel like it was "that" busy of a weekend, but I guess running around after you guys adds up when you do it constantly from Friday to Sunday with not much down time. We had a nice weekend though.
Saturday morning started with an Egg hunt..
Max and Regan joined in the fun, too.
Lilly was on a mission. I mean a MISSION. She cleaned house, and even picked up smashed/broken eggs.
Saturday evening we had dinner at Grandma and Gpa's house, and dyed Eggs.
The finished products!
Sunday we hung out around home and headed over to Patti's for lunch . Where the Twins got to do Egg Hunt #2 of the weekend.
Turned out to be a pretty decent day.
Lilly acted like finding these eggs was her Full Time Job, and she did it with pure passion.
Charlie sat on this tractor and rode it up and down the driveway for over an hour. He was in love with it!

The damn Rabbit showed up again! Lilly was pretty brave, but NOT Charlie. Scared little boy he was.

Grandpa Jeff brought out some homemade Raspberry Wine he had on hand even. **Reason for the Brandy Bottle in the picture. This wine was good, but pretty strong. You will want to stick close to home if you are enjoying this.

Pretty Windy that afternoon.
And Sunny...
Quick flashback to last year!
I see a common theme in Charlie's hats both years. Am I creating a tradition without even knowing it?
