Ice!

Tuesday's are my day to take the kids to daycare, since Adam is on the road to the cities a little after 6am. Roads were a little slicker than I had thought and we slid into the ditch/front yard. I tried to "drive out" and got us even more stuck. We had to call in the tow truck to get us out. That was even quite the process and seeing the tow truck slide on the ice as it is trying to pull my huge car out of the ditch, was quite the sight.

It's Friday night and I am working until 8pm. I let the kids come in my office for little increments of time to have a little fun. Charlie has my headset on below, and was having fun typing a really long email.

Blahhhh

The bug hit our house... First Lilly, then Charlie, and I am on the mend from it. Charlie was the only one to barf not once but twice. Lilly and I just got the CRUD.  I hate being sick, even if I am not completely laid up, I just hate the feeling of not having the energy to be the SuperWoman I try to be. I had to let the laundry creep up a bit more this week, our poor fish is sitting in sludge due to me putting off his water changing, I have let dishes pile up more than I wanted, I had to push my hair appointment out to Feb. 18th,  and I am putting off changing the kids bed linen's. Don't get me wrong, I sit and think about all the stuff I want/need done, I just don't have the energy.

I feel it coming back though, and when it does. Watch Out! 

The Ipad has saved our lives this winter by keeping the twins busy. I know Mary Poppins would probably not approve and there is some flashcard exercises I shouldbe doing.

Thursday Thoughts

In Ms. Lilly Jean's case, there is a chance she is playing in the toilet water and rubbing the water into her long blonde locks. AFTER peeing in the water.

True story, I can't make this shit up.

Having everyone LOVE you so much and wanting to sit with you is flattering and annoying at the same time. I have a tender spot under an eye, from a Toddler Melon smashing me in the face at this very moment.

They all compete for the the closest spot to my face. Even the dog. I think we will need to upgrade the recliner to a bigger chair in 2013 if these twinkies don't stop growing. God forbid, I tell them they are too big for my lap.

They were a hit, and cleaned up surprisingly easy.

The twins got their flu shot today at 4:30. Yes, I know I was a bit late on the vaccination bandwagon this season, but don't judge me. Note to self: Get in early next fall so they can get the "MIST" in their nose and we can avoid the trauma of the NEEDLE!

Swamp Bath!

I am too nervous to watch the Vikes vs. Packers, so I have kept myself busy in the basement. Started with giving the Twins baths.

We spiced things up a bit and brought in some different toys!

They thought it was Christmas all over again!

Christmas Day
