Finally Friday

It has been a LONG week for me, so I am going to end it on some funny comparisons..

OK so the above picture was Charlie on his way to daycare on Monday. Charlie doesn't have really any black pants that fit him right now. Of COURSE I wanted him to Match. Dad said "Can't we just put grey ones on him?"... "No he needs black ones".. So long story short Charlie is in a burly flannel here with Lilly's Black Leggings! He looked very "European" to me.

The picture of Lilly above was taken this morning. Lastnight was a night of sleeplessness in ALL 3 rooms. Lilly was up coughing a lot, Charlie was up crying a lot. I tried to sleep with Charlie in the office but that lasted 7 min. Pretty sure this house will be in bed by 8:30 pm this CRAZY Friday night.

I am sure your Gpa Keith will look at the Tina Turner picture and smile. He loves Tina Turner.
Some people can pull crazy hair styles off, Lilly so don't feel to bad about how you went to daycare today.

I remember.....

The days when the only trick at getting a good family photo, was to have you guys look at the camera....

Now you can move, so it is to Not only have you look at the camera but also BOTH stay sitting... and in this one below.. keeping Charlie's finger out of his nose.


I have NO idea how they did it back then.....

Update On Their Rooms

So, we moved into out new house on August 27th.... this past month I have started to decorate your rooms. I have had help from some of you, so thank you very much!

Above is some things in Lilly's room. Her 'theme' is kind of Vintage. Real girly, purses , chandeliers, Marilyn Monroe Picture, etc. I am still going to add to it, but you get the idea.

Due to my LOVE of animal print that will never go away, of course Charlie got the Jungle Theme :) We have white letters that will spell his name out above his crib, but first Daddy is going to paint black stripes on them to make them look like ZEBRA!

More to come but you get the idea.

You Ate Veggies When You Were One!

I know that when you are older we will butt heads at the dinner table trying to get you to finish your veggies before you can leave the table. It is a battle every parent has. I will remind you that when you were 14 months old you loved these little concoctions made by Ella's Organic Baby Food... You are eating Parsnips here.... I don't even know what they look like. You take a nice little pull, smack your lips and say MMMMMMMM. I chuckle inside when I think about how you will probably reject any green/orange veggie down the road. Now Charlie on the other hand...he prefers Waffles and Mandarin Oranges.

They are great in little handy packages that you are old enough to just SUCK out the goods.

Day of LOVE!!

Happy 2nd Valentines Day, to my sweet little babies!!

Last year on this day, I was home on Maternity Leave with you guys. I was finally staying home ALONE with the TWO of you. I didn't do this until you were about 7 or 8 weeks old, FYI.

I didn't have ANY Valentines Outfits for you, and I could NOT go out shopping with you two alone. So, I worked with what I had..

Look At Me

You figured out how to do this lastnight while you and I were on the couch watching the Sprout Network for kids. I was laughing at you and you really knew you were entertaining me. You kept doing it, and then looking at me to make sure I was still amused by your flexibility.



Don't worry little girl, you are always entertaining me. Even when you are being sassy and demanding, I still think you are cute. Please learn how to say please by March...your EHHHHHH when you want something has now rubbed off on that copy cat brother of yours. He has now started to follow you and copy everything you do. I mean EVERYTHING.
