Amaze N Farm
This past Saturday was a Perfect Fall day.
While Adam hit the golf course, I hit up a fun place with the twins that is a short 15 mile drive.
The twins loved every minute of it!
They had a "parakeet" room, that was FULL of birds. Lilly was brave enough to hold a stick with a bird on it, but Charlie...not so much.
We showed up in stocking caps and the twins slowly shed layers and were down to shirts and pants before we headed home.

Lilly's Cozy Set Up
There is something about the calmness that a string of lights can add to a room. I picked these up for a future photo shoot idea I have, but I thought I would AWE this little girl with them first.

Regan Turns 6!
This weekend we celebrated Regan's 6th birthday, just a couple days early.
The twins even had their first encounter with a Pinata, and it was a "hit"
Even Adam got to take the Final WHACK, and it went flying!
I can't believe Regan is 6 and started Kindergarten this year. Seems like just yesterday!

Dance Class Night #1
Tonight was Lilly's first official dance practice. It went as planned. She had courage like you wouldn't believe up until.... I had to leave her in a circle of little kids. I was the ONLY parent out of about 15 or so that had to sit with their child the ENTIRE time.
It should get better each week, I hope!
My little girl still needs me and isn't 100% ready to leave me quite yet. Part of me felt like I had failed as a parent, I didn't understand why the other kids had courage to stay by themselves and Lilly did not. I question my parenting, and wonder... am I "too nice" to my kids that they love me that much?! What are the other parents doing that their kids aren't so scared. I just need to relax.
Don't get me wrong, there were some scared kids there. However they didn't cry, and run away and lock themselves in a bathroom stall though. Thank goodness Charlie was there to crawl under there and unlock it for me. She slowly eased her way back in there, but she made sure I was behind her or next to her the entire time!
The twins are starting to really bond, and it is super cute! Charlie had a look of panic, as his twin sister was being forced to sit and "shake her silly's out" with other kids.
Liquid courage didn't even do the trick.
This was her by the end though, she was participating very well, and following along. If she sticks with it, her dance will be Sooo CUTE! They learned about the first 4 moves tonight.
I will be pumping her up until next Thursday now, so stay tuned.

With A Little Help From My Friends (and family)
We had Grandma Pam's Benefit last Sunday. It was a HUGE success!
It was a GREAT day, and we all had a blast catching up with people we hadn't seen for many years. Introducing old friends to new friends, telling stories, laughing, hugging, crying. All the things that are good for a soul.
I even had Lilly sport her new RED shoes at the event. I can't wait for her to sport these all fall long. Love them.
We even made sure the Vikes Game was on for every one as well.
Not gonna lie, I was totally dreading how the twins would deal with 4+ hours of this, but they handled it GREAT. Their Daddy snuck them out to a park visit later in the day, that was much needed.
Grandma Pam sure has a lot of friends and people who love her very much!
The items that came in from donations were absolutely outstanding!
Lot's of cute baby faces to capture, too!
Maya presenting the $1,000 + that she raised with her 4 square tournament!
This afghan has come all they way from Florida. My mom saw it, and kept commenting on it. We presented this to her mid auction, and it was very special.
Our family is forever thankful for the support and generosity that went into this day to make it happen. Whether you donated, time, money, auction items, or prayers, we are thankful. Thank You, and god bless you from Everyone of us!
Give thanks for what you are now, and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow. ~Fernanda Miramontes-Landeros
