Til' Next Year!
I have lots of pics to share with you down the road, but we are in recovery mode at the Mergen's. Stay tuned for lots of cute pictures with a rundown of what they received in GIFTS. It is insanely generously large! We love our family! Charlie and Lilly are very thankful for each and every gift and so are Adam and I!

Christmas Carolers
Here is a cute video of the twins singing Christmas Carols lastnight. Please note, that Charlie does have underwear on. He is also holding a pair, as he likes to look at the cartoon characters.
Enjoy!

Too Cute Tuesday!
Dressing a little girl is SOOO Much FUN!
It is December 18th and I still do not have an Xmas Shirt for this boy though! I went to Gap Kids last week and walked out with some of their "spring line"...NOTHING for Christmas. Any suggestions?

Ho Ho Ho..or Horror?
Last Year
This Year
We aren't making the best progress in the Santa Courage Department.
Poor Lilly... Tuesday night I subjected her to her first "trim" as well.
Well today the joke is on me. I get to go to the skin doctors and have them dig moles off me.

Roaming The Halls
Last Thursday we took the kids to a Rocori Wrestling Match. We arrived in the middle of the JV match, so by the time Varsity started these two were a WEE Bit Antsy. Half way through the Varsity match, I took the kids out for a potty break and let them roam the halls. This allowed Dad and Gpa Jeff to enjoy the match.
Charlie was loving the FREE space to run. His one arm swinging back and forth as he put all his engery into that run, made me giggle.
Upon running around the halls of Rocori we stumbled upon dance practice. They were dancing to Xmas music and it caught our attention for about 4 minutes.
Does this picture below remind you of the movie "Breakfast Club?" For some reason it does for me.

Weekend Recap!
What a weekend! I took lots of pictures, but here are some good ones!
Twins are 3! We had a small birthday brunch for them on Saturday morning.
Today I am celebrating my 3rd Annual 29th Birthday!
Winter always likes to get in my face on or around my birthday. Two years ago, I had a fun girls weekend planned in the cities at a hotel, and a night out on the town. Well, Minneapolis was handed 17 inches of snow in a short period of time, and the Damn Metrodome Collapsed. Needless to say that 30th birthday party didn't happen and I didn't go anywhere.
I don't think we will be going very far today either... Charlie didn't last long enough outside for me to catch a picture. Lilly enjoyed it though. Until her mouth and shovel handle collided due to running into a snow bank.

3 Years Ago Today
This was me 3 years ago today. Doing some last minute shopping before my scheduled C-Section the next morning. I was accompanied by my Mom, Sister, and Aunt Jen. We had fun, and laughed a lot! I was a maniac on this scooter and was knocking into racks of sleepers and end caps of diapers. I still rock that Northface Puffy Coat, and I am proud that I can get it to zip again!
Maternity winter coats make me chuckle. Who needs a winter coat, when you huff and puff, and sweat the entire day carrying around 13 lbs of "baby" in your lower abdomen?
Tomrrow at 10:40 and 10:41 will be the exact times that Lilly and Charlie came into this world. I am giving them the gift of "Stay at home Mom" for a day. More to come. Stay classy out there!

Back To The Grind
I sure enjoyed my 4 days home with family. We made a couple quick trips to down, but did a lot of lounging. Napped somedays, and somedays we skipped it. Lilly can't handle two days without a nap. She was sound asleep 5 min after this photo was taken and down for the night. It was 6:30 pm on Sunday!

Let There Be Light!
I Love "wowing" The Twins!
Sometimes what I think will "wow" them doesn't turn out like I thought it would. Pulling into the driveway tonight after daycare, this was pretty cool for them to see.

Potty Training 101
This Blog entry will not have any tips for potty training, just a heads up. Not really sure what I am doing.
You know as a new parent, when you hear someone say.. "Little Johnny Slept Through The Night at 5 weeks old." You instantly jump to conclusions thinking either you are totally doing something wrong, or they are complete liars!
I am pretty sure, that I will never be able to stand around a Happy Hour Table and proudly talk about how my kids picked up potty training "over a weekend."

Some of you may wonder "Why did they go out to eat?" We needed to get out of the house. It went better there than at home I felt like. The 5 trips I made to the bathroom with them, didn't bug me as much as I would of thought. Maybe it was the fact that Adam drove and I got to have a margarita the size of my head with dinner.

I am at the stage of thinking anyone who has this "claim" is just not telling me The Ugly Truth. Lilly was sobbing Saturday morning, telling me "I don't want to grow up!"

She is a good sport!
I have been eyeing this "gem" for a couple weeks now. It sits on the outskirts of town, along a busy hwy hoping someone will buy him, along with other boats and RV's. I am in love with the color. Tiffany Blue/Teal. Charlie did not want to get out of the car to take some quick pictures, but Lilly was game! They didn't turn out as cute as I would like, but we had a good time. Take a look!
Their First Drumstick!
Feels like just yesterday I was posting their first bite of watered down rice cereal...
I had to show them the art of eating one... Eat the chocolate layer first!
Bath time followed...obviously!
Hey fish lips!
Charlie has a new camera face...
They clean up pretty well!
