Sometimes when we are doing things around the house that involve nails/hammers we need to do Operation Confine/Entertain. This entails, keeping you out of harms way and QUIET! Lilly's crib and 2 tape measures did the trick the other night.
My mom comments on how my favorite thing to play with when I was young was a tape measure. Around age 5 to 7, I would walk around the house and just measure things/myself/anything that could be measured in our 3 bedroom duplex, I am sure I measured. I even remember doing this.
Oh, and remember the blog about the Bucket List and the Twins needing "Finding Nemo." Gma Pam to the rescue, she mailed up a copy this week. If you could hear Charlie running around the house yelling "ISHY" you would grin from ear to ear, Mom.
FYI...ISHY means FISHY.
